Due to the large thermal expansion coefficient of silver and its alloy, it is easy to cause large welding stress and deformation in the welding process. Oxygen has a high solubility in liquid silver. During the cooling process after welding, the solubility of oxygen in silver decreases rapidly when it is transformed into solid state. At this time, the oxygen precipitated from the solid solution remains between dendritic crystals, which is easy to form porosity defects.
