Relay is a kind of electrical control device. It is an electrical appliance that causes a predetermined step change of the controlled quantity in the electrical output circuit when the change of the input quantity (the excitation quantity) reaches the specified requirements.It has the interaction between the control system (also known as the input loop) and the controlled system (also known as the output loop).Usually used in automated control circuits, it is actually an "automatic switch" that USES a small current to control the operation of a large current.Therefore, it plays a role of automatic regulation, safety protection and conversion circuit in the circuit
According to the load of relay, it can be divided into:
1) Micropower relay: A relay with A resistance of 0.1a or 0.2A when the open contact voltage is 28V DC.[5]
2) Weak power relay: relay with 0.A and 1A resistance when the open contact voltage is 28V DC.[5]
3) Medium power relay: when the open contact voltage is 28V DC, the relay (resistance) is 2A and 5A.[5]
4) High-power relay: when the open contact voltage is 28V DC, (resistance) is 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 40A.
Depending on the power, the contact size and material of the internal relay will also vary
In general, micropower and weak power relays are made of Ag,AgNi, FAg materials
AgCdO12,AgCdO15 and AgSnO2 (12) materials will be used for medium power relays
The high-power relay will adopt AgSnO2,AgSnO2In2O3 materials
