The industry of electric contact materials has made great progress, the category of electric contact materials has been greatly enriched, and the quality has also been greatly improved.The output of silver-based contact materials increased from 1,200 tons in 2010 to 1,600 tons in 2016, while the output of copper-based contact materials increased from 470 tons in 2010 to 750 tons in 2016, according to the statistics of the Electrical Alloy Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.In 2016, the output of silver-based contact materials in China increased by 10.34% year-on-year.The output of copper-base contact material maintained stable;Vacuum contact materials increased 4.84% year on year.
Based on previous years' growth rate, according to prospective calculation, in 2017, China's output of silver-based contact materials is 1,679 tons, and that of copper-based contact materials is 811 tons.According to the prediction of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association Electrical alloy Branch, during the "thirteenth five-year" period, the annual compound growth rate of China's electrical contact material output will be maintained at 7%-8%.By 2020, China's output of silver-based contact materials will reach 2,085 tons, while that of copper-based contact materials will reach 1,007 tons.
At present, the main downstream enterprises of electrical contact materials are in the high-voltage electrical appliance industry, low-voltage electrical appliance industry and electronic information manufacturing industry, and the dividends of the three fields will be gradually released during the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan.
In terms of high-voltage electrical appliances, the National Energy Administration issued the Action Plan for Construction and Renovation of Distribution Networks (2015-2020) in August 2015. In 2015-2020, the investment in construction and renovation of distribution networks shall be no less than 2 trillion yuan, including no less than 300 billion yuan in 2015, a year-on-year increase of over 76%.The cumulative investment during the 13th Five-Year Plan period shall not be less than 1.7 trillion yuan.
In terms of low-voltage electrical appliances, in the next few years, benefiting from the continuous growth of demand for low-voltage electrical appliances in the field of power transmission and distribution engineering, the electrical contact material industry will maintain a steady growth during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.The steady growth of household appliances, office equipment, automobiles and other industries provides a strong guarantee for the continuous growth of the electrical contact materials industry.In addition, the continuous expansion of electric contact materials in aviation, military industry and other new fields provides a new driving force for the sustainable development of the entire electric contact materials industry.
